The Classic Skagway (2 hour tour) and the Classic Skagway Deluxe (4 hour) begin with an introduction to the area.
Your personal chauffeur will pick you up in your classic car. Cruise down bustling Broadway and listen to Gold Rush boom town stories of Soapy Smith, Frank Reid and William Moore with drive bys of historic sites. Drive through Skagway of today as you travel to the Skagway Overlook approximately 1.5 miles away on the edge of town. Here you'll view the lay out of town, mountains, and cruise ships docked in the Skagway Harbor. A great spot for photos. Once leaving the overlook you'll depart on your choice of tour.
A four hour tour with time to explore.
Once leaving the Overlook we depart on The Summit Drive. This drive will take you through US customs into Canada. The scenery changes as you climb in elevation. Information about the changing flora and fauna as well as more history about the Gold Rush Days, White Pass and Chikoot Trail. There are two stops on the ascent of the pass to view the Brackett toll road and Yukon White Pass railroad route and another stop with an excellent mountain/valley view. Great photo opportunities. At the Summit stop walk a gentle path to a mountain lake. Time to relax and enjoy the very different interior scenery with a short break for refreshments. The return trip down the Klondike Highway includes a stop at the Welcome to Alaska sign and another at a dramatic waterfall. Great Photo ops. Upon the return to town the next 2 hours are customers choice: Chauffeur will outline all of the options available and based on the guests interests arrange the balance of the tour time.
Visit the Gold Rush Cemetery. Enjoy a short walk up a forest trail to Reid Falls, another excellent photo site. Or choose one of the options available. If shopping is on your "to do" list your chauffeur will be able to direct you to shops that may meet your interests. Chauffeurs will drop you off, carry your bags, and provide transporation to the next shop. If you would like to try your hand at Gold Panning or visit the gorgeous Jewell Gardens these activities can be fit in this section. Additional entrance fees for these options.
Passports or U.S. drivers license and certified birth certificate are required to pass through customs on the Summit Drive and return to the U.S.
This two hour tour is an excellent choice to see the highlights of Skagway and an introduction to the town leaving plenty of time for other adventures while in port.

Built in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush, this narrow gauge railroad is an International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. The WP&YR climbs nearly 3000 feet in just 20 miles and features steep grades of up to 3.9%, cliff-hanging turns of 16 degrees, two tunnels and numerous bridges and trestles. See the steel cantilever bridge which was the tallest of its kind in the world when it was constructed in 1901. Experience the breathtaking panorama of mountains, glaciers, gorges, waterfalls, tunnels, trestles and historic sites from the comfort of vintage passenger coaches. The train arrives in Fraser BC where guests disembark.
